Powdea’s delivery package included a large bag emptying system with weighing equipment, a screw dispenser, a screw conveyor to transfer a weighed powder batch to a tri-blender and dosing control automation. Anti-Dust bag opening mechanism for dust-tight and safe bag handling<\/h3>\n

The project paid special attention to the ergonomic, safe and hygienic handling of the dispensed powder. The large bag dispenser was equipped with the Anti-Dust \u2122 bag opening mechanism developed by Powdea, which allows safe and dust-free handling of the large bag. In the opening phase, the sack is lowered by means of a hoist onto a safety arch on the lid of the container, whereby the weight of the sack does not rest on the hoist when opening the knot of the sack. The bottom valve of the bag can be easily and safely opened through the door. After opening the bottom valve, the dust-tight door is closed, making the tank completely tight.<\/p>\n

Comprehensive project management service to support equipment delivery<\/h3>\n

Powdea was responsible for the overall implementation of the project, which included an on-site measurement visit, equipment and layout design, installation guidance, and commissioning and training of the equipment. Powdea also conducted the lifting test of the large bag station required by crane legislation prior to commissioning the equipment.<\/p>\n
