In vacuum conveyors, different types of fans or Roots blowers are used to develop the under pressure needed to transport the material. Typically, the material is fed into the transfer line using a rotary feeder. The mixture of the material to be moved and the air travels along the transfer pipeline to the receiving hopper, where the transfer air is separated from the material to be moved with a filter or cyclone.
Vacuum transfer conveyors are well suited for medium and long (10-50 m) transfer distances and transfer capacities from 100 kg to 8000kg / h). The lateral and vertical positioning of the transfer piping is almost free, so the transfer system can be easily installed even in tight spaces.
The trouble-free operation of the pneumatic conveyor for the desired capacity is based on mathematical calculation models and material handling know-how brought by experience, based on which we measure the size of the transfer pipeline, the amount of air needed for transfer and the filter that separates the transfer air from the material to be transferred.
