Konditoria Galette automates the flour dispensing of the Market Bakery

The flour is dispensed at the touch of a button. All the baker needs to do is enter the desired amount of flour on the operator panel display and press the “Start” button, moving the selected amount of flour from the large bag station on the storage side to the flour scale neatly and dust-free on a vacuum conveyor. From the flour scale, the portion is dropped into the dough mixer

Powdea  automated the flour dispensing of Konditoria Galette’s new market bakery.

The equipment consists of a big bag dispenser located on the storage side, a vacuum conveyor, a flour scale and automatic dosing.

Flour dispensing at the touch of a button

All the baker needs to do is enter the desired amount of flour on the operator panel display and press the “Start” button, moving the selected amount of flour from the large bag station on the storage side to the flour scale neatly and dust-free on a vacuum conveyor. From the flour scale, the portion is dropped into the dough mixer.

Safe handling of bigbags

Even the handling of a large bag is safe and ergonomic. The sack is lifted onto the big bag rack with the hoist lowered on the safety rim. In this case, the weight of the bag rests on the safety rim and the bottom valve can be opened safely without fear of the bag falling.

Galette was founded in 1957 in Karhula. In 1983, the bakery moved to Hovinsaari, while operations were expanded with bakeries and cafés. Over the years, Galette’s products tasted good to the people of Kotka, so the Hovinsaari bakery was expanded in 1988. Years rolled on and lessons passed from father to son. In 2010, operations were expanded again, this time with another bakery in connection with Kotka Prisma. Today, in addition to the two bakeries, Galette means tasty and tasty pastries for the Eagles, which are baked in the third generation, together with a professional and inspiring staff.
