Powdea’s total solution included three new 80 m3 size aluminium silos for bakery flour storage. Modern silos are equipped with weighing equipment and automatic silo filter cleaning system that starts cleaning the filter automatically after filling. Flour is screened silo inside the silo skirt by Powder Technic’s ATEX centrifugal sifter prior to the feeding of pneumatic transmission lines.
Automatic dosing of powdered and liquid ingredients
The delivery included an automatic dosing of the flour and liquids to all four production lines, as well as automatic egg mass dosing to one production line.
The recipe dosing control system ensures accurate dosing and production traceability
The delivery included a fully automatic raw material storage and dosing system is controlled by a very versatile recipe dosing control system Powdea Technologies has developed. Implemented with Siemens logic and panel PC, the system efficiently and accurately directs the raw materials ordered by bakers from the touch screens to the desired points of use. The system saves the dosing transactions directly to Microsoft Excel files, enabling automation of the required water dosing for all four production lines and automatic dosing of egg mass based on weighing for one line.
Dosage of manually added substances according to the recipe
Powdea supplied also Smart Scales that are linked to the Recipe-controlled dosing system for each of the 5 production lines. The main difference between the traditional table scale is a clear 10″ Touch Screen display, which guides the baker to dose just the right quantities of materials based on the recipe. Smart Scales and Touch screens are connected to the process control system and dosing report are saved to database for quality control.
